Hello,
My name is Hernan D'Aloia I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I grew up & now still live in Whittier, CA(southern California). I have been engraving now since 1997 when I first did my lowrider bike called "Argentinean Pride". There are different types of engraving out there. When I engrave I use a mini hand held air chisel tool to carve out the metals, plastics, or wood. I have noticed throughout these my years of engraving that people confuse engraving with etching. Etching is done on top of chrome/gold finished surfaces. While engraving your are actually carving the material out so it could be on raw finish or under chrome/gold finshes. I am greatful to have done work on some great bikes, cars, trucks, motorcyclyes, & along with other interesting things.
